Spring Dean’s Lecture: Katie Schmitz, PhD, MPH, to speak on “Exercise is Medicine in the Penn State Health System”

Kathryn “Katie” Schmitz, professor of public health sciences and physical medicine and rehabilitation at Penn State College of Medicine, will present the 2020 Spring Dean’s Lecture on exercise in medicine.

Kathryn “Katie” Schmitz, PhD, MPH, will present Penn State College of Medicine’s 2020 Spring Dean’s Lecture on the topic “Exercise is Medicine in the Penn State Health System.”

Schmitz is a professor in the College of Medicine’s Department of Public Health Sciences (Division of Health Services and Behavioral Research) and the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and a member of Penn State Cancer Institute.

Her talk will be streamed live and recorded via Mediasite. CME credit is available for those who attend in person.

The presentation of the 2020 Research Recognition Awards will immediately follow the lecture.
