Book Club: Connecting Through Literature

March 8, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

Please join the Department of Humanities and the Harrell Health Sciences Library to discuss the March 8, 2023, book selection, “What the Eyes Don’t See: A Story of Crisis, Resistance, and Hope in an American City” by Mona Hanna-Attisha.

Our goal for these discussions is to strengthen our community ties and expand understanding through reading. This group meets monthly, covering a variety of genres and topics. Registration is required to receive the zoom link to attend.

This event is free and open to all Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State Health faculty, nurses, health care providers, staff, students and members of our surrounding community.

For more information and to register to attend, please email Sharon Daugherty or visit the Penn State College of Medicine’s Connecting Through Literature Book Club webpage.

Meeting info will be sent by email to registered attendees the day before the event.

Continuing Education credits are available for the Penn State Health and College of Medicine community.

For a complete list of upcoming book discussions, visit us on the web.
