Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania Nights to Discover Speaker Series: Dr. David Ho and Dr. Peter Hudson on Challenges of COVID-19

Dr. David Ho and Dr. Peter Hudson will discuss the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic during Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania’s Nights to Discover Speaker Series.

Ho’s work on HIV replication earned him the 2001 Presidential Medal of Honor, and Hudson’s work on wildlife diseases has earned him election to the Royal Society and Humanitarian of the Year in 2019. Both scientists will draw on their experiences in infectious disease research to engage audiences in discussion of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Registration is required. A Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants the day before the event. Penn State Health is sponsoring the lecture.
