Hanover Session: Write a Winning NIH Biosketch

Research Development at Penn State College of Medicine invites you to join Hanover Research for a special presentation that breaks down the new NIH biosketch format (non-fellowship). Senior Grants Consultant Bryan DeBusk, PhD, will share tips and insights on how to perfect your biosketch to showcase your training and expertise – and to market your proposed research project to NIH reviewers. Session content will be geared toward early career faculty investigators. All are welcome to attend this FREE session!

Topics to be highlighted:

  • Tips for writing an effective personal statement
  • Best practices for selecting citations (including research products)
  • How to address factors that affected your past productivity
  • Strategies for tackling Contributions to Science
  • Formatting – common pitfalls and errors to avoid
  • Using SciENcv to create your biosketch template

Registration is required. A recording of the webinar will be made available to all who register for this session.
Audience Question & Answer (Q&A) will be encouraged.
