Vinyasa Yoga is a powerful form of yoga where you will fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting the breath to each movement.
The class will be taught in a heated room, set at 81 degrees, making it a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. Heating the room allows more circulation to muscles, allowing both beginners and those familiar with the practice to approach exercise from a safe place. We will incorporate strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility work in addition to breath and meditation. The purpose is to link the breath, mind, and movement in a way that not only improves qualities of physical fitness; but also enhances mental focus and decreases stress by connecting you with the present moment. This class is designed for all levels and can be modified depending on individual needs and abilities.
Please bring a yoga mat and/or block if you have one available.
