In the Key of D Concert: ‘Soulscapes’
December 6, 2022, 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm

The Doctors Kienle Center for Humanistic Medicine in the Department of Humanities welcomes you to attend the In the Key of D concert titled “Soulscapes” on Dec. 6, at 5:30 p.m. in Lecture Room D. Featuring musician Maria Thompson Corley on the piano. This program will showcase music by women of African descent, including Florence Price, Julia Perry, Bett Jackson King and Maria Thompson Corley.
Currently based in Lancaster, Pa., Maria Thompson Corley (MM, DMA, The Juilliard School) is a pianist, composer, writer, and voice actor of Jamaican and Bermudian descent. Her recent solo CD, Soulscapes 2, was among WRTI’s 12 CDs from the first half of 2022 not-to-be-missed.
In the Key of D concerts are performed by regional, national, and international performers and are provided by The Doctors Kienle Center for Humanistic Medicine at no cost to our health care providers, medical students, faculty and staff and their plus-one.
