It provides an introduction to the key skills and knowledge every investigator needs to develop a sustainable clinical research program.

Topics covered during this workshop include:

  • Choosing a research question – implications for study design
  • Identifying collaborators and mentors
  • Best practices for grant proposal development
  • NIH policies governing clinical research
