Mental Health First Aid (two-day program)

Mental Health First Aid is a public education program that introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental illnesses, builds understanding of their impact and gives and overview of common supports. The program is being held in two sessions at Penn State College of Medicine.
The National Council for Behavioral Health offers a certification in Mental Health First Aid USA, which will be provided to participants if they complete the entire course (both sessions) and if more than five individuals attend the course. Learn more about Mental Health First Aid.
This is a two-day session; the Jan. 21 session will be held in Room C7521 of Penn State College of Medicine, and the Jan. 23 session will be in Room CG628.
