Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction: Live, Online Fall Monday evening sessions

Being mindful begins right where you are. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, or MBSR, is an eight-week guided course for bringing healthy choices to life, being offered to the community through Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine.

This series, led by Tim Riley and Shelly Ungemach, will run Mondays from Sept. 18 to Nov. 6 via Microsoft Teams.

  • Orientation: 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, 2023
  • Sessions: 6 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 18 to Nov. 6, 2023
  • Retreat: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023

Participation requirements: Participants will need a laptop, smartphone or tablet with reliable internet connection. A quiet, protected space within the home is recommended.

Minimum class size of 8.
