MLK commemoration series: “A 15-Minute Guided Meditation – Envision Tomorrow: Creating The Promise Land”

January 12, 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm

If you can’t crawl to tackle inequalities, can you agree to keep moving forward?

This discussion is part of  the College of Medicine’s first annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration, “Confronting Race In Medicine And Science: Carving Our Paths To The Promise Land.”

The future we seek is only as real as the vision we hold in our minds, and only as tangible as the steps we take to create it. This guided meditation will provide you with an opportunity to envision what tomorrow can look like and the actions you will take to make that vision a reality.

Guest speaker: Sonnya Nieves, program director, Diversity Pathway Programs, Penn State College of Medicine.
