Penn State Health Inclusion Week: The Power of Music and Movement in Health and Well-Being

June 15, 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm

Advancing Life Quality

Our health and well-being are enhanced through increased physical activity, including dance. Join us at Milton S Hershey Medical Center or virtually in this workshop that will offer experiences and cultural learning using lecture and traditional West African dance and drum as the teaching platforms. You will have the opportunity to learn the specifics of the dance and rhythms, with instruction provided by Jihan Von Hendricks of the Keur Khaleyi African Dance Company.

Those with questions or who require accommodation of a disability to participate should email diversity@pennstatehealth.psu.edu.

Registration is required for in person and virtual.

Live workshop at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center rooms T2500, T2501 and T2502.
