‘Stop the Bleed’ classes – Cumberland County

July 30, 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center will host free “Stop the Bleed” classes. “Stop the Bleed” is a national initiative to teach bystanders the appropriate response to save a life when a person is bleeding to death.

Uncontrolled hemorrhage is the leading cause of death for trauma patients. A person can bleed to death in less than five minutes. The quick application of a tourniquet can save lives. Come learn lifesaving techniques in this one-hour, hands-on class.
