Body Zone Lunch and Learn: Learn How to Spot a Stroke

Every 3 1/2 minutes, someone in the U.S. dies from a stroke. A major cause of long-term disability, strokes reduce mobility in more than half of survivors age 65 and older. If you or someone you know is having a stroke, it is important to act quickly to increase the chance of survival. Find out the leading causes of stroke, its signs and symptoms and how to respond.

Presenter

Dr. Warqaa Majeed is board-certified in neurology, specializing in stroke, epilepsy, headache, movement disorder, dementia syndrome, multiple sclerosis and neuropathy.
