Surviving and Thriving: 2020 Cancer Survivors Celebration – Save the Date

May 27 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

Colorful watercolor dragonfly with blue shield containing nittany lion inside the shield. Penn State Cancer Institute text is to the right of the shield.

May 27, 2020 will be the 2019 Cancer Survivorship Celebration, “Surviving and Thriving!” at the Hershey Lodge, presented by Highmark. We have a day full of activities planned, including inspirational speakers, vendor tables to browse, music, massage therapy, and more.

Who is a cancer survivor? The National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation defines a survivor as anyone living with a history of cancer – from the moment of diagnosis through the remainder of life. National Cancer Survivors Day® is a CELEBRATION for those who have survived, an INSPIRATION for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of SUPPORT for families, and an OUTREACH to the community.

Registration is required. Each survivor is welcome to bring one guest (please indicate this when registering). Registration opens March 2, 2020. Click here for our registration information.

Since we are still planning our schedule, more details will be posted here once they become available.
