Sustaining Public Health in Pennsylvania Through Best Practices and Community-based Initiatives Conference

The Pennsylvania Public Health Association (PPHA), the Pennsylvania Office of Rural Health (PORH), Penn State College of Medicine’s Public Health Program and the Society for Public Health Education – Pennsylvania Chapter (SOPHE), in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Nutrition Education Network (PA NEN), will offer a one-day conference, Sustaining Public Health in Pennsylvania Through Best Practices and Community-based Initiatives, which will highlight community and public health issues and initiatives for diverse and underserved populations.
Register before 5 p.m. (EST) on May 6. The one-day event will be held on June 9, 2022, at The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center in State College, Pa. The conference will highlight community and public health issues and initiatives for diverse and underserved populations and focus on:
- Community and public health strategies;
- Best practices in improving the health of special and underserved populations, with a special focus on migrant and immigrant farmworkers;
- Use of data-driven and evidence-based practices in public and community health; and
- The intersection of public health and nutrition.
