Penn State Center for Medical Innovation is offering researchers an opportunity to learn what it takes to move an innovation beyond the lab or clinic with the I-Corps@NCATS program.
The virtual series will take place from March 19 through April 23, with four-hour sessions held biweekly.
The I-Corps@NCATS program offers a methodology to identify the commercial potential of novel technologies. During the course, teams of participating researchers will learn how to explore product-market fit, talk to customers, gain insight from experienced business leaders and build a business case for translation of their science. The NIH-designed I-Corps curriculum provides a real-world, hands-on, immersive learning experience in how to transform innovations into successful products and services.
The spring 2021 cohort will be led by regional I-Corps director Kevin Harter and members of the Center for Medical Innovation team. Registration is required to participate.
