August 30, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

A little anxiety can help motivate us but too much can stop us in our tracks. This workshop will help students understand the continuum of anxiety. How can you recognize if it is getting in your way? What coping strategies can help? Can you use your anxiety to help with your studying or is it sometimes getting in your way?

This workshop with be led by a panel of your support team to help attendees understand anxiety, coping strategies and services available at Penn State College of Medicine to help.  This panel will include Drs. Martha Peaslee-Levine and Stevie Falk from the Office for Professional Mental Health; Dr. Rhonda Mudry from Learning Center and Cognitive Skills; and Ms. Paula Moodie, Student Disability and Inclusion Specialist.
