Penn State Health’s Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion presents: The 3rd Annual CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion
In 2017, PwC’s CEO established CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion as the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Today, more than 2,000 organizational leaders, including Penn State Health CEO Stephen Massini and Penn State University President Eric Barron, are part of this effort.
One of the initiatives of CEO Action is the annual Day of Understanding, during which the nearly 2,000 signatory organizations lead an open dialogue within their organization with the goal of inspiring change and “moving the needle toward a more just and equitable world.”
Penn State Health’s Day of Understanding will be April 28, 2021, with four programs at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, and 4 p.m.
- The 8 to 9 a.m. program will focus on Diversity and Inclusion in a Post COVID World: Where We Have Been and Where We Need to Go. This session will discuss the lessons COVID has taught people as individuals and as a community, how they’ve impacted the new normal and the opportunities for each person to advance change.
