Obesity is a grave public health threat and can cause and/or exacerbate a wide spectrum of comorbidities. That is why Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) at Penn State College of Medicine is launching a learning network focused on clinical implications of obesity, including the treatment and management of this chronic disease.
This network aims to connect a multi-disciplinary team of specialists with community providers across the Commonwealth. Together, they will discuss de-identified patient cases and develop recommendations and considerations for care.
This no-cost CME-eligible ECHO series will cover topics such as:
- Surgical Treatment of Obesity
- Cushings
- NAFDL/NASH
- Medical Management of Obesity
- Type II Diabetes
