Webinar: COVID-19 Research from a Policy Influence Perspective
February 18, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute will present “COVID-19 Research from a Policy Influence Perspective” as its next Translational Science Seminar Series webinar. This seminar is the first in a three-part series focused on health policy.
In this seminar, Robert Lennon, MD, associate professor of family and community medicine at Penn State College of Medicine, will present his team’s experience with COVID-19 research from a policy influence perspective. The purpose of his team’s research was to gain insight and understanding of the public’s knowledge of COVID-19, their intended compliance with CDC recommendations to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, and how they received information about COVID-19. The researchers collected data in an extensive global survey, translated into 23 languages with more than 18,000 respondents from 70 countries.
Registration is required, with a Zoom link to be provided to those who register.
The Translational Science Seminar Series: Bench to Bedside and Beyond encourages an engaged translational science workforce through panel discussions and practical application information.
