Webinar: COVID-19 research literature – beyond what is found in PubMed
August 13, 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
With the explosion of research on COVID-19, it is not always easy to locate most current literature available, especially if only relying on PubMed.
Harrell Health Sciences Library’s Brad Long, who is currently volunteering with the WHO/GOARN Librarian Reserve Corps, will present this webinar on how to effectively search for COVID-19 research literature, beyond what can be found in PubMed.
The learning objectives for this session are:
- Identify library databases beyond PubMed and how to effectively search them.
- Learn how to effectively search United States, WHO and international government websites.
- Identify pre-print and other grey literature resources to search.
- Deal with pandemic-related misinformation and disinformation.
A Zoom link will be provided after registration and before the workshop. Those who register but who do not receive an email should check their quarantined mail.
