This webinar will address the basic awareness in serving the healthcare needs of Ukrainian residents and refugees and the importance of providing both medical care and psychological support. It will discuss the importance of having information regarding how to apply for insurance and available benefits and medical office questionnaires in both Ukrainian and Russian languages. Education about potential differences in medical care between the USA and Ukraine (medical conditions typical for Ukraine, approach to vaccination, the importance of prophylactic testing, the confidentiality of patient’s medical records, etc.) It will also include a general overview of Ukrainian’s cultural similarities and differences and some basic aspects of the Ukrainian culture.
