Presented by: Guodong Liu, PhD.

About the presenter: Dr. Liu is an Associate Professor of Public Health Sciences in the Division of Health Services and Behavior Research at Penn State College of Medicine, with joint appointments as Associate Professor of Neurology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. Dr. Liu received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Beihang University in China; his MS in Applied Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington; and his MS and PhD in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His areas of research include big data analytics, bioinformatics, biomedical informatics, statistical computing, health services research as well as medical conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), mood disorders, Dementia and Parkinson’s disease.
