Inclusion Week 2021, sponsored by the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, is a weeklong celebration featuring events that aim to support and foster diversity and inclusion at Penn State Health, Penn State College of Medicine and the communities those organizations serve. Participants will have the opportunity to learn through meaningful and insightful virtual discussions and presentations on topics that are currently at the forefront of diversity and inclusion.

Across the nation, workforces consist of employees from five different generations, with two of the generations – Gen Y and Gen Z – representing the greatest diversity from a racial/ethnic, gender, disability and gender identity basis. Understanding the characteristics of each generation, including meeting their expectations to maximize their performance, will be critical for managers who want to achieve their work goals. This interactive session, led by Nat Alston, founder and president of The Horizons Group, will provide managers with the skills to effectively lead a generationally diverse workforce.
