Webinar: Inclusion Week 2021- MLK’s Foundation for Health Equity

January 18, 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Inclusion Week 2021, sponsored by the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, is a weeklong celebration featuring events that aim to support and foster diversity and inclusion at Penn State Health, Penn State College of Medicine and the communities those organizations serve. Participants will have the opportunity to learn through meaningful and insightful virtual discussions and presentations on topics that are currently at the forefront of diversity and inclusion.

As the group kicks off Inclusion Week 2021 and remembers the rich contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., it is also important to reflect on how his legacy can be used to eliminate the health care disparities that affect the underserved and underrepresented in the United States today. This session will be led by the Rev. Dr. Franklin Hairston-Allen, president of the Greater Harrisburg NAACP.

The session will be held via Zoom. Webinar links will be provided in advance of the event for those who register.
