About the presentation: Human history reveals many repeated patterns, among them the certainty of deadly pandemics including the Black Death, the Spanish Flu and most recently COVID-19. This talk will compare and contrast these three pandemics and assess which platforms and concepts employed to address COVID-19 could reasonably be expected to address not only inevitable future pandemics with unknown or unforeseen microbes, but to address endemic diseases with pandemic potential.
