Penn State Health and College of Medicine faculty and staff are invited to an exclusive, virtual screening and panel discussion of “The Gene: An Intimate History.” Ken Burns produced the documentary.

The panel discussion will feature:

• Kent Vrana, chair of the Department of Pharmacology, who will serve as moderator
• James Broach, director of Penn State Institute for Personalized Medicine
• Dr. David Goldenberg, chair of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery
• Jennifer McCormick, associate professor in the Department of Humanities

The documentary features compelling interviews and powerful personal stories that highlight discoveries made possible by research into the human genome.
