DESCRIPTION:This month’s Topics in Addiction Seminar will be presented by Övgü Kaynak\, PhD\, Associate Professor\, Social Sciences & Psychology\, Co-Director\, Awareness & Community Engagement (ACE) Lab\, Douglas W. Pollock Center for Addiction Outreach and Research\, Penn State Harrisburg. \nThis presentation will present findings from qualitative interviews with family members who have lost a loved one to accidental overdose\, highlighting how stigma shapes their experiences of grief\, isolation\, and meaning-making. The talk will also discuss improving how families are connected to supportive\, accessible resources during bereavement and beyond. \nThis seminar will be recorded.
