Dress Made of Twizzlers among the highlights at Go Red For Women party

Penn State Hershey Heart and Vascular Institute and the American Heart Association teamed up to celebrate the tenth anniversary of a heart disease awareness campaign geared toward women. Among the highlights of the Go Red for Women Premier Party was the unveiling of a red dress made with Twizzlers® candy. The dress, which was commissioned by Penn State Hershey, was modeled by Jordyn Colao, Miss Pennsylvania 2012, at the February 27 event at the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum outside Hershey.

The Go Red for Women Premier Party also featured a healthy cooking demonstration by Penn State Hershey chef Scott Anthony, as well as screenings of the 2013 Go Red for Women tenth anniversary film and the American Heart Association's new video, “Just a Little Heart Attack.” The American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign is sponsored locally by Penn State Hershey Heart and Vascular Institute.
