Gov. Corbett visits Penn State Hershey, tours Clinical Simulation Center
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett toured the Penn State Hershey Clinical Simulation Center this week, applauding the facility for its work in preparing medical students and others for the healthcare workforce.
Corbett was accompanied on his tour by Penn State Hershey Medical Center leaders. The governor looked on as a group of Penn State Harrisburg nursing students received training. Corbett also got a chance to try his hand at an endoscopic procedure with the help of a simulation device.
During his visit, Corbett announced the latest release of JobGateway.pa.gov, a website designed to connect people looking for work and local employers. He was joined by Department of Labor & Industry Secretary Julia Hearthway.
