New Cancer Institute Inpatient Unit opening

A new Cancer Institute inpatient unit opened at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in November, 2013. The new unit, located on the seventh floor of the hospital, is exclusively dedicated to adult cancer care. As part of the opening event, patient Kurt Holtzer became the first patient to ring the new bell symbolizing the end of a milestone for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
