Our sincere thanks to THON
Inspiration comes in many forms. At Penn State Hershey, we find it in the faces of courageous children fighting cancer. We see it in the strength of families staring down a diagnosis no one should have to face. Such resolve is the driving force for tireless caregivers who care for our Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital families in their struggle against childhood cancer as well as the dedicated researchers who strive to find a cure.
It has always been clear that the courage and drive of those battling childhood cancer inspires the students of THON, but the example set by these students also serves as inspiration to all of us. Year after year, THON helps to redefine what is possible.
On behalf of Penn State Hershey, the Four Diamonds Fund and the many people we serve, I offer my congratulations and profound thanks to the many students who contributed to the success of this year's THON. I also want to express my appreciation to the many faculty, staff, donors and sponsors who supported their efforts across Penn State and beyond in the hope of one day conquering childhood cancer.
