Dr. Craig Hillemeier accepts the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Dr. Craig Hillemeier, CEO of Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Penn State’s senior vice president for health affairs, and dean of the Penn State College of Medicine, completes the ice bucket challenge on behalf of the Penn State Hershey ALS Clinic. The clinic sees about 200 patients from across Pennsylvania and conducts cutting edge research into the causes and potential treatments for ALS. The Penn State Nittany Lion did the dousing. Hillemeier nominated Secretary Michael Wolf of the Pennsylvania Department of Health; Ophthalmology Department Chairman Dr. David Quillen; and members of the second-, third- and fourth-year medical student classes and graduate students of the College of Medicine. First-year medical students have already completed their own ice bucket challenge.
