Bringing Halloween ‘spirit' to the Children's Hospital

Volunteers from Spirit Halloween stores throughout central Pennsylvania recently held a Halloween party at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. Patients and their families had the chance to enjoy costumes, games and crafts.

Spirit Halloween, a seasonal Halloween retailer, hosted more than 80 such events at children's hospitals throughout the United States and Canada this year. To date, the retailer's “Spirit of Children” program has donated $22 million to those hospitals, including nearly $232,000 in cash and merchandise to the Child Life Program at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.
