Hope Strikes Back Children's Miracle Ball a success

C3P0, Jedi, Storm Troopers and Darth Vader joined forces at the Hope Strikes Back Children's Miracle Ball on November 14 at the Hershey Lodge. With the support of several corporate partners and individuals, the event raised a record-breaking $200,000 for Children's Miracle Network at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. The ball's Miracle Innovator Award recipient was Credit Unions for Kids, a group of credit unions which contributed more than $78,000 to purchase an ultrasound system for the hospital's new pediatric emergency department. During the evening's program, pediatric patient Hailey Kehoe shared how she was helped by the hospital's pediatric trauma services after experiencing a brain hemorrhage. Guests also enjoyed interacting with Star Wars characters from Garrison Carida, 501st Legion. Watch a recap video and learn more at PennStateHersheyCMN.org.
