Miracle Treat Day benefits Penn State Health Children’s Hospital

Local Dairy Queen® restaurants celebrated the 11th annual Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 28 to benefit Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, one of 170 hospitals supported by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals®.For every Blizzard® Treat sold on Miracle Treat Day at participating locations, $1 or more is donated to Penn State Health Children’s Hospital. As part of the build-up to Miracle Treat Day, Dairy Queen operators from York, Middletown and Palmyra brought Blizzard Treats to Penn State Health Children’s Hospital on Wednesday, July 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each pediatric patient had the opportunity to receive a free ice cream treat, and Blizzard Treats were also offered for sale in the hospital café. Thirteen-year-old Kaeden Rhoads, a heart surgery patient from Lancaster, assisted with the sale.
