Spirit Halloween throws a party at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital

Spirit Halloween hosted a Halloween party for patients and their families at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, featuring costumes, games and crafts. It's one of 88 such parties that the company is holding in hospitals across the U.S. through its Spirit of Children program.

The program has raised more than $291,000 for Penn State Health Children’s Hospital over the last several years. The money, which is earmarked for the Child Life program, comes from donations collected at Spirit Halloween stores.

Spirit of Children's goal is to raise $7.8 million this year, which would bring its total contribution to Child Life programs at children’s hospitals across the country to more than $37 million since the program started in 2006.
