Gifts given to Children's Hospital in young girl's memory
A group of ‘elves' recently donated more than 150 gifts to Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, all in memory of a young girl who lost her battle with cancer.
The gifts from Addison's Acts of Kindness, which include toys, games and musical instruments, will be put to use by the hospital's Child Life and Music Therapy programs.
Addison's Acts of Kindness was created by Aaron and Kim Holl in honor of their daughter, Addison Grace Holl, who died on February 24, 2013, just before her 9th birthday. Their goal was to create a way for Addison’s friends and family to keep her close at heart and be inspired to treat others with the same love that she always shared.
This marks the fourth year of such a holiday donation from Addison's Acts of Kindness.
