Children’s Miracle Network receives national honors
CMN Hospitals has announced that Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital has won two national fundraising awards for 2019. CMN Hershey received the highest fundraising award ($4.7 million) for mid-size CMN Hospitals serving a population of between 1 million and 3 million. CMN Hershey has won this award 11 times in the last 12 years. And for the 12th straight year, CMN Hershey received the highest fundraising per capita award ($2.49) for mid-size CMN Hospitals.
CMN Hershey raises money all year long through events, icon campaigns, corporate donations and individual giving. In 2019, the top ten CMN Hershey partners were 1. The GIANT Company 2. Rite Aid 3. Funds raised support life-saving equipment, family-centered programs and research at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital. “Thanks to our generous community, we can give sick and injured children the #GiftofGrowingUp,” said Danielle Sunday, director of CMN Hershey. “2019 was a banner year for our program, and while we know there will be fundraising challenges ahead due to these unpredictable times, we remain committed to doing all we can to help the children and families we serve. Together, miracles happen.”
CMN Hershey has raised more than $78 million for Penn State Health Children’s Hospital over the last 36 years.
