Superheroes ‘drop in’ on patients at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital
Three famed superheroes banded together for their most important mission of the year: to bring smiles to the faces of children at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital. Captain America, Spiderman and Superman rappelled down the side of the hospital to the cheers of children, their families and other onlookers.
Typically, these superheroes are mild-mannered window washers with Harrisburg-based Vancena Property Service. This marked the sixth time the “superhero window washers” have visited the Children’s Hospital.
This year’s event coincided with “Superhero Day” at the Children’s Hospital, which also included staff dressing up as their favorite superheroes.
