Ollie’s donates $25,000 to Penn State Health Children’s Hospital
Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. donated $25,000 to Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital this week. The company raised the money through a sports memorabilia auction.
“Although a lot has changed in the 40 years we’ve been in business, our commitment to giving back to children in the communities we serve remains consistent and we are thrilled to make this contribution to CMN Hospitals and the kids at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital,” said John Swygert, president and CEO of Ollie’s.
The company auctioned off a range of memorabilia including signed baseballs, footballs, helmets and basketballs that were collected over the years through several sports sponsorships.
Funds raised for Children’s Miracle Network Hershey support life-saving equipment, vital patient programs and innovative research to help provide the best possible care to sick and injured children. Children’s Miracle Network has raised more than $87 million for Penn State Health Children’s Hospital since 1984.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada, helping make sure every child receives the best possible care.
