Penn State THON Weekend kicks off Feb. 16
THON will continue its dance for a cure when more than 700 student dancers and thousands of student volunteers unite at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center, Feb. 16-18, for the 52nd annual THON Weekend 46-hour dance marathon.
THON is the largest student-run philanthropy event in the world. It has raised more than $219 million since its founding to benefit Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital in its goal to end childhood cancer. Since its creation in 1972, Four Diamonds has helped more than 4,800 children and families and supported a diverse platform of childhood cancer research at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine, seeking improved treatments and cures to benefit kids around the world.
