First responders and others converge on Milton S. Hershey Medical Center campus to ‘Light Up the Night’

A kaleidoscope of color filled the night sky on the campus of Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center on the evening of March 12.

In an act of kindness and community, more than 100 vehicles representing over 75 organizations teamed up to brighten the lives of children at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.

In its third year, Light Up the Night brought together local law enforcement, EMS and fire agencies from across central Pennsylvania, as well as several towing companies, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, PA State Police, Penn State Health Life Lion and the PA Emergency Management Agency.

The participants also teamed up to provide giveaways for young patients, including flashlights and coloring books.
