Vascular surgery consultations offered at Exeter Outpatient Center beginning May 15
Penn State Health Exeter Outpatient Center in Exeter Township will expand its specialty services to include vascular surgery consultations beginning Wednesday, May 15. Vascular surgeons Drs. Ali Amin and Chris Werter will see patients at the Exeter Township location on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
“As vascular surgeons, we provide a number of minimally invasive procedures to treat patients for whom non-surgical treatments haven’t worked,” Amin said.
Conditions treated by Drs. Amin and Werter include:
- Peripheral artery disease
- Carotid artery disease
- Aneurysms
- Deep vein thrombosis
- Varicose veins
“We are excited to see expanded access to our superior, coordinated vascular surgery care in the Berks Region,” Werter said. “Penn State Health is committed to providing the highest level of care to our heart and vascular patients, where and when they need it.”
The Exeter Outpatient Center houses several other specialties, including cardiology, dermatology, gynecology, infectious diseases, plastic and reconstructive surgery, orthopedics and sports medicine.
