Promoting Justice: Challenges in Reaching The Good Place

Held in conjunction with the COM Office of Diversity & Belonging 2025 MLK, Jr. Observance.​​​​​, this presentation will discuss how issues of justice arise in the course of providing medical care. It will include a general discussion of what justice involves, opportunities for promoting justice, and challenges that arise when we try to do so. Included as an example is the allocation of scarce critical resources during the height of the COVID pandemic.
