Free Hernia Screenings – Lancaster
June 4, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Over 5 million people in the U.S. have hernias each year. Hernias happen when part of an internal organ of tissue bulges through a weak area of muscle. Symptoms are nausea, groin pain or a bulge in the abdomen or groin area. While millions of people have hernias, only about 15% get medical treatment.
Penn State Health is offering free 15-minute, private hernia screenings with general and minimally invasive surgeon, Dr. Donald Tomasello. With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Tomasello specializes in hernia repair, breast surgery, gastroendoscopic surgery and the surgical removal of skin lesions.
