October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Meet two incredible women who have faced breast cancer with “Hope and Courage” Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m. on abc27. Find out how genetic testing helped one woman discover she had the BRCA2 mutation and how Penn State Health surgeons helped her proactively prevent cancer. We’ll also cover the importance of breast cancer screenings and the latest treatments and reconstruction options after mastectomy.
