The need and relevancy of using qualified medical interpreters in healthcare.
During this discussion you will learn to:
- Identify the differences between fluent, proficient, and qualified Medical Interpreters.
- Recognize the importance and the mandates for using qualified medical interpreters in healthcare.
- Distinguish the issues, concerns, and lessons learned from offering culturally and linguistically appropriate services (CLAS standards).
