Culturally responsive mental health care begins with understanding the beliefs, values, and traditions that influence how Latino/Hispanic individuals and families view mental health and wellness. Factors such as family relationships, faith, language, and cultural norms can shape help-seeking behaviors, treatment engagement, and overall mental health outcomes.
This webinar will explore key cultural influences within Latino/Hispanic communities, common barriers to accessing mental health services, and practical strategies for providing culturally sensitive, patient-centered care. Participants will gain insights to help build trust, improve communication, and support better outcomes for Latino/Hispanic patients.
