Rural communities face unique healthcare challenges that contribute to poorer health outcomes and persistent disparities. Join us for this webinar to explore the current state of rural health, including barriers such as provider shortages, transportation limitations and reduced healthcare infrastructure.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe key characteristics of rural populations and the current state of health outcomes in rural communities.
- Identify major barriers to healthcare access, including workforce shortages, transportation challenges, and limited healthcare infrastructure.
- Examine the impact of social determinants of health, geographic isolation, and economic factors on rural health disparities.
